Characteristics of RF Wireless in Commercial Applications

Almost every installer has had one bad experience with radio frequency (RF) technology, especially in commercial environments. They deployed a wireless solution for a given application and it wasn’t adequate to the environment. Often this is a result of simple misunderstand of how wireless technology works. This white paper will provide the characteristics of the different RF technologies, and explain why one kind of wireless will work in a given situation, and another wireless might not. We will also discuss the different types of wireless applications, and the importance of surveying wireless jobs.
