Cloud VR–oriented Bearer Network

November 2, 2017

Cloud VR introduces the cloud computing technology to VR services. With fast and stable bearer networks, cloud-based video and audio outputs are coded, compressed, and transmitted to user terminals, implementing cloud-based VR service content storage and rendering. Currently, good user experience relies mostly on high-performance devices for local rendering. Cloud VR allows users to enjoy various VR services without purchasing expensive high-end PCs, promoting the popularization of VR services.

Emerson’s Secure Bluetooth® Wireless Technology Implementation

whitePaper | October 10, 2022

One of the overarching goals of the ETSI Industry Specification Group (ISG) F5G on Fifth Generation Fixed Network is to establish a regular rhythm of evolution for the fixed telecommunications network. This technology enhancement corresponds to the series of generations defined for the wireless network. So far, F5G has published technical specifications on use cases, generations definition of fibre networks, architecture, and more. As it continues, these documents will be enhanced and revised to describe the fifth generation of fixed networks more fully. Therefore, we need to consider the evolution of F5G. This White Paper describes the drivers, dimensions, and technologies of the F5G advanced and beyond.

How to meet the IoT security requirements of today and tomorrow

whitePaper | December 30, 2022

Governments around the world are creating Internet of Things (IoT) security legislation and regulations designed to keep users safe in an increasingly connected world. Connectivity is good and, in fact, great but bad things can happen to people with unprotected or poorly protected IoT devices. Failing to meet government regulations or guidelines may lead to the inability to sell products in a region and thus to lost revenue. However, the regulations are constantly in a state of flux. This white paper provides updated background on what governments are suggesting or requiring as well as specific details on how to implement security defenses and obtain security certifications that can satisfy current and even future government requirements
