Virgin Media tops Broadband Genie awards

Virgin Media has been named top broadband provider, according to the latest annual home broadband survey held by broadband comparison site Broadband Genie. Virgin scored highest for reliability speed satisfaction, in addition to the fastest download speed with an average of 46 Mbps. Previous survey winner Plusnet was won the 'most recommended and best value' categories, while Sky won in the customer care and technical support categories. BT had the highest rated home Wi-Fi router.
