Global internet of things (IoT) leader, Telit Cinterion, recently announced its successful verification for 5G FN980 and FN990 series data cards to be used with the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier, Jetson Orin NX and Jetson AGX Orin modules. The FN980 and FN990 modules are based on the 3GPP Release 15 and 16 standards and are perfect for applications which are bandwidth-intensive and high-performance enabled by NVIDIA Jetson modules. Built for edge computing, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and machines, these modules are the world’s most powerful, energy-efficient and smallest AI supercomputers.
The new generation of Orin family, the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX is designed for smart cameras, autonomous robotics, computer vision, and for AI and/or machine learning (ML) at the edge application requirements. For NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX, Telit Cinterion is among the first IoT technology providers to validate its 5G networking.
With configurable power between 10W and 25W, Jetson Orin NX modules achieve up to 100 trillion operations per second (TOPS) of AI performance for its smallest form factor. Jetson Orin NX is an ideal choice for low-power, small-form-factor products like drones and handheld devices as it offers 3 times the performance of Jetson AGX Xavier and 5 times the performance of Jetson Xavier NX.
