OnX Adds Cisco SD-WAN to Its Managed Service Portfolio

Toronto-based cloud services provider OnX Canada is now offering Cisco’s SD-WAN as a managed service to enterprise customers. OnX now offers managed SD-WAN services on both Cisco’s Viptela platform and VMware’s VeloCloud, two of the largest providers in the space according to to a recent IDC forecast. The company claims that Cisco’s SD-WAN offers customers a highly predictable user experience, greater simplicity, and security for enterprise assets all while optimizing connectivity to multi-cloud and software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications. OnX now offers cloud-managed SD-WAN, cloud calling, cloud-managed access and security, as well as Webex services courtesy of Cisco. By adding Cisco’s Viptela to its managed services portfolio OnX is targeting large enterprises with significant branch footprints. For small to midsized businesses, the company says VMware’s VeloCloud remains the “perfect fit.”
