Nokia and T-Mobile announced today that they would collaborate to build 5G private mobile networks and hybrid mobile networks. T-Mobile's 5G Advanced Network Products, a suite of 5G networks that allow apps to assist business and government clients with ultrafast speeds, reduced latency, and control over their connection, will include these solutions. Customers now have access to a versatile solution that produces real-world outcomes and next-level performance.
Until T-Mobile launched 5G Advanced Network Options today, finding solutions outside of private 5G networks was difficult. T-Mobile and Nokia are stepping in as America's 5G leaders, with the nation's biggest and fastest 5G network, to provide consumers with accessible 5G network services that give the appropriate performance they require, giving significant advantages over Wi-Fi or wired networks.
MishkaDehghan, Senior Vice President, Strategy, Product, and Solutions Engineering, T-Mobile Business Group said that "Nokia is an established leader in end-to-end private wireless network solutions with extensive experience deploying private networks for enterprise and industry verticals. We have a longstanding trusted partnership with Nokia for our nationwide mobile network, and we are excited to work with Nokia to help enterprises and industry verticals realize the immediate benefits of 5G as they digitalize their businesses and improve operations.”
Current choices, such as Wi-Fi or wired networks, present unique issues because of their restricted coverage (which limits scaling), limited capacity (which limits speed and dependability), and limited mobility (restricting usability). And 5G Advanced Network Solutions tackles each of them head-on, utilizing Nokia's industry-leading equipment for T-Mobile's hybrid mobile network and the Nokia Digital Automation Cloud Private Network solution for T-Mobile's private mobile network solution.
We have built our leadership position in private wireless networks by working with our valued partners. This extended partnership will help T-Mobile grow its enterprise customer base across a wide range of industries and enable state-of-the-art digital transformation with a secure and dependable private wireless network based on Nokia Digital Automation Cloud technology.”
