Global Secure SD-WAN Solutions Thrive as Organizations Turn to Cloud and 5G

Secure software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) global demand increases as organizations strive to meet security concerns and improve the employee experience. Frost & Sullivan's recent analysis finds that the global secure SD-WAN solutions market is expected to reach $6.52 billion by 2026 from $1.67 billion in 2021 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 31.3%.

A wide area network allows devices to communicate and share information with other locations around the world. The white paper offers analysis of "IP over WDM" and "IP+Optical", states t IP over WDM was initially designed for one specific cloud service provider niche application. Edgecore Networks Upgrades its MLTG-Series to Achieve Greater Deployment Flexibility

Through ecCLOUD, the system can automatically detect all nearby client devices in the same channel and generate a MAC list. IT staff then only need to select a specific client device's MAC and the connection is built automatically after applying the setting. In addition, the system automatically detects the connection status. When a disconnection occurs, it will automatically reconnect and send a notification to the IT staff. In base station mode, the MLTG-CN can concurrently connect up to 15 client devices and deliver blazing-fast Point-to-Multipoint (PtMP) links with a fiber-like multi-gigabit aggregate throughput of up to 2 Gbps. For long-range Point-to-Point (PtP) links, the MLTG-CN LR is the ideal option. The MLTG-CN LR can be paired to rapidly build PtP links of up to 1 km for backhaul or last-mile access, and deliver multi-gigabit throughput of up to 3.6 Gbps. “With the firmware upgrade, the Edgecore MLTG-series now has more powerful and complete features, which removes more deployment limitations, With ecCLOUD, IT staff can establish network connections faster through the intuitive user interface, and monitor network connection status anytime, anywhere to solve problems in a timely manner.
