DTAC unfazed by more 4G competition
The country's second-largest mobile operator shrugged off increased competition from its rivals, saying that Advanced Info Service (AIS) and True Move will also face high licensing-based fourth-generation. This sentiment comes despite the fact that the company is the sole operator still under the old-fashioned concession system. Among the big three mobile operators, DTAC is the only company that failed to win a 4G licence under the lower-cost licensing regime.
