DriveNets Network Cloud is the First Networking Solution on the Market to Support Broadcom J2C+ and Triple Network Size

DriveNets Network Cloud is the first high-scale routing solution to run on Broadcom's Jericho 2c+ (J2C+) ASIC using a new white box, the NCP-36CD-S, according to the networking software provider. DriveNets Network Cloud now has a 691Tbps cluster with these latest white boxes, making it the world's largest size routing solution with the lowest footprint and lowest power consumption. It highlights the clustered disaggregated Network Cloud model's superior resilience and speeds to market over a conventional monolithic router.

DriveNets is once again providing the most innovative solutions to its rising global client base to maintain its strategic advantage and optimize its economic model. The solution is suitable for Edge Cloud deployments, providing a high-performance multiservice shared infrastructure in the smallest footprint, making it ideal for highly distributed edge networks. High-capacity networks will now be installed with fewer boxes, further strengthening the superior TCO model of delivering DriveNets Network Cloud. The new high-capacity white box is suitable for multiservice, 5G, aggregation, and core networks, as well as Edge Cloud infrastructures, which are becoming increasingly essential in the cloud and service provider markets.

The latest NCP-36CD-S joins the existing NCP-10CD and NCP-40C versions as the third data plane white box available. All three white boxes are backed by the same white box fabric (NCFs) and can be mixed and matched in a cluster to provide maximum stability, growth, and investment protection. DriveNets Network Cloud will be ready for early customer trials in the third quarter of 2021, operating on the latest NCP white box. The updated NCP-36CD-S supports up to 36 400G ports in a compact 2RU form factor.
