Cradlepoint Introduces NetCloud Private Networks

Cradlepoint
In a recent development, Cradlepoint has launched NetCloud Private Networks, a cloud-delivered LTE and 5G wireless network solution.

NetCloud Private Networks facilitates private cellular network ownership and enterprise adoption. Its advantages are scalability, plug-and-play deployment, a Wi-Fi-like experience, and single-pane IT infrastructure integration.

Peter Cappiello, CEO of Future Technologies Venture, LLC (Future Technologies), said, "Private networks have opened up opportunities for partners to once again be a trusted advisor to customers on how to securely expand connectivity while maintaining control over cost and uptime.” He further added, "Cradlepoint's NetCloud Private Networks looks to make our job easier by offering an integrated end-to-end solution that is simple to deploy and manage as well as capitalizing on the pervasive network infrastructure investments that lie within enterprises today." Some of the features of NetCloud Private Networks include:

Orchestration and automation- NetCloud Private Networks orchestrates several systems for a plug-and-play experience. Automation streamlines daily administration and enables future AI-driven operations.

Complete solution- NetCloud Private Networks can swiftly install a reliable Mobility Gateway (cellular core) that can be installed on-site and plug-and-play indoor or outdoor LTE cellular access points (CAPs) with 5G support in the future. Cradlepoint's SIM Management functionality helps locate fixed sites, CAPs, IoT endpoints (user equipment), mobile devices, and private SIMs.

NetCloud interoperability- Cradlepoint's NetCloud Service offers enterprise-grade edge security, cellular intelligence, edge computing, and actionable analytics, all managed through a single pane of glass. It also manages private and public SIMs.

Wi-Fi-like experience- NetCloud Private Networks leverage power-over-ethernet switches and drops across the building for CAP deployments. An RF planning tool, IT terminology, management, and control features mirror Wi-Fi operational characteristics.

Availability: NetCloud Private Networks' initial LTE support for the US CBRS spectrum is offered through select channel partners. In addition, 5G and other global spectrums will be enabled later this year.
