Comtech Telecommunications Corp., a global leader in next-generation 911 emergency systems and secure communications technologies, announced that its Trusted Location group, a division of Comtech's Commercial Solutions segment, was awarded an agreement with a tier one operator in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to support their 5G standalone network during the fourth quarter of fiscal 2022. This is the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's second 5G project for Trusted Location.
This mobile network operator plans to enhance its present geolocation technology platform to include emergency response, safety, security, and value-added services. The operator will expand its 5G network in Saudi Arabia, improving end-user performance and meeting new government demands.
