FirstNet Deployment - Status of the Nationwide Public Safety Broadband Network

In 2012, Congress created the First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet) to develop, build and operate a nationwide, broadband network that equips first responders to save lives and protect U.S. communities. FirstNet has made significant strides in delivering on this mandate. Today, nearly 7,250 agencies utilize more than 600,000 connections on the FirstNet network. In addition, over 100 devices with public safety-focused features and functions are approved and certified for use on the FirstNet network. The webinar will provide an overview of FirstNet's accomplishments to date, as well as provide insights from a first-responder network user.

A new network, for the multi cloud era

Todays network model is posing significant challenges in a world where the average enterprise uses at least five public cloud services, increasingly uses containers as well as VMs and bare metal to run apps, and a common operational model seems elusive. NSX technology and VMwares Virtual Cloud Network vision are redefining what networking and security mean in the cloud era. In this webinar, find out how the latest release of NSX takes this to a whole new level, complete with demos from the experts.

5G Private Networks: How maximising spectral efficiency can reduce infrastructure costs by a third and improve performance

Real Wireless, the independent wireless experts, recently undertook a research project to identify use cases for 5G private network deployments and assess the impact of improved spectral efficiency in these scenarios. The research shows that there are considerable benefits in performance and infrastructure cost reduction, across a range of private and public network use cases from using AccelerComm’s 5G physical layer IP solution - including cost reductions of up to a third.

Zero-Trust Networks: When They Make Sense and When They Don’t

Auvik

As business applications shift from living on-premises to the cloud, it may not always be necessary to enable communication between user devices. In fact, preventing your clients’ user devices from contacting each other part of a zero-trust network approach could prevent a malicious cyber-attack from spreading and costing clients major data recovery fees.A zero-trust approach could make sense for many client networks, both inherited and new—but it could also potentially interrupt their business.

Deploy Fiber & Wireless Faster

ISEMAG

The United States and Canada are experiencing a huge push for more fiber and wireless bandwidth. As a result, there is a massive need for efficient deployment of infrastructure. In this webinar, Mike McGill, SVP for the Communications Business Unit at ikeGPS will introduce a new workflow solution, called IKE Analyze, for accelerating aerial deployments of fiber and wireless equipment. The webinar will examine two real world examples of fiber and wireless deployments where IKE Analyze streamlined the entire workflow from field data collection, through to pole load analysis, make ready engineering, and permitting. There will be a Q&A at the end of the webinar. The IKE Pole Experts that were involved will be available to answer any questions so that you can dive deeper and fully understand how IKE Analyze benefits each different piece of the fiber and wireless workflow.
