Tata, Cisco Redefine Enterprise Networking Solution

TCS which is a major IT company and Cisco, which is a San Jose, based networking provider has now partnered to provide with a new managed software defined wide area network solution for the enterprises both on-premise and cloud, the firm revealed in a statement. The solution which has been developed from the Tata communications IZO cloud platform and Cisco SD-WAN services, will provide the enterprises greater control over their digital infrastructure and securely connect users to any of the application locations. “Cisco SD-WAN can direct each application to the most appropriate transport to use in real-time and that application is free to reside in any cloud or on-premise location. This cloud-native architecture allows organizations to seamlessly transition and adopt cloud-hosted and assisted infrastructure to ultimately allow businesses to accelerate their transformation and innovation agenda,” said Vish Iyer, vice president of architectures for the Asia Pacific and Japan at Cisco, said.
