World's Smallest Wi-Fi HaLow Module by Morse Micro and AzureWave

Morse Micro
Australia-based fabless semiconductor company, Morse Micro, providing next-gen Wi-Fi for IoTs, recently announced a collaboration with wireless connectivity solutions provider, AzureWave Technologies Inc., the synergies created would increase the broad implementation of Wi-Fi HaLow in the Internet of Things (IoTs) environments. AzureWave will design and manufacture two Wi-Fi Halow modules, including the 13x13mm module, which is currently the smallest in the market.

Both modules use FCC-certified reference designs and will be powered by Morse Micro’s MM6108 microchip. MM6108 chip is the fastest, smallest and lowest power W-Fi HaLow Soc in the market, and capable of providing 10x range than other Wi-Fi solutions.

Wi-Fi HaLow systems are increasingly becoming a part of the IoT ecosystem, and this partnership will increase the usage of Wi-Fi solutions globally.

The 13mm x 13mm module and 14mm x 18.5mm modules can be purchased directly via AzureWave, while Morse Micro develops evaluation platforms to incorporate these modules for its customers.
