Google Cloud today announced a comprehensive new strategy to help telecommunications companies digitally transform. Google Cloud’s strategy focuses on three key business outcomes for telecommunications companies: monetizing 5G as a business services platform, engaging customers with data-driven experiences, and improving operational efficiency across telecom core systems. Metronet Begins Construction of 100 Percent Fiber Optic Network in St. Joseph

Metronet today announced that construction of its 100 percent fiber optic network has officially begun in St. Joseph. Upon completion of the two-year construction process, St. Joseph will join the country’s internet elite as a Certified Gigabit City. Construction has begun near the northern part of St. Joseph, in the North Ridge Estates Subdivision, and is expanding rapidly throughout the city with the first customers expected to be connected by spring of 2024. As construction continues throughout the city, customers may sign up for presale which will indicate their interest and prioritize service installation once available.
