Google Adds U.S. Cellular's Network to Its Project Fi Mobile Service

The reach of Google’s up-and-coming wireless service has just gotten even bigger. The company said this week that it is expanding the coverage of its Project Fi service with the addition of U.S. Cellular’s network. Current Project Fi partners include T-Mobile and Sprint. U.S. Cellular offers service in 23 states with 4G LTE coverage for more than 99 percent of its subscribers in both urban and rural areas, Project Fi project manager Evan Jacobs said in a blog post announcing the news.
