Expereo Acquires Border 6 for SD-WAN Underlay Platform

Service provider Expereo acquired software vendor Border 6 to expand the capabilities of its software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) underlay platform. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.Expereo initially licensed Border 6 software when it was developing its XCA platform for Internet routing optimization. The company then decided to purchase Border 6 because its algorithm for understanding Internet performance is key to the company’s XCA platform, said Sander Barens, vice president of commercial development at Expereo.
