Anritsu Corporation and Orolia declare immediate support for Assisted GPS (A-GPS) test capabilities on the Anritsu ME7834NR 5G Mobile Device Test Platform to meet 5G New Radio (NR) Carrier Acceptance Testing (CAT) standards for various North American operators. Anritsu leverages Orolia's industry-leading GNSS simulation capabilities as part of the two companies' strategic relationship to offer A-GPS CAT research platforms with the new Orolia GSG-SKY-ANR solution. On the same platform, the Anritsu MR7834NR supports A-GPS, FR1, FR2, FR1+FR2 NSA, and SA US operator signaling specifications.
Orolia's GSG-SKY-ANR simulation platform is used in the A-GPS simulation portion of Anritsu's ME7834NR-based test solution. Orolia's award-winning SKYDEL simulation engine powers the GSG-SKY-ANR, delivering modular, scalable, and powerful GNSS/GPS simulation solutions. Anritsu ME7834NR customers have special access to the GSG-SKY-ANR GNSS simulator.
